Amazing Body Transformations By Actors For Movie Roles

Dekh Lay brings to you a list of celebrities that completely changed their body form for their movie characters. Here it is:

1-Christian Bale

Christian Bale is probably the most hardworking actor with  most body transformations done by an actor. In his movie The Machinist he lost 60 pounds from his normal weight. And in just five months he gained about 100 pounds for his next movie Batman begins. But the director, Christopher Nolan, thought he was bit too fat so he had to lose 20 pounds again.

2-Robert DeNiro

At 48 years old, Robert De Niro transformed his middle-aged shrub of a body into a nasty looking, tatooed, muscular, 4% body fat body in order to play the role of angry ex-convict Max Cady, in 1991’s Cape Fear.

3-Robert Downey, Jr.

For the starring role in the Iron Man series of films, Robert Downey Jr. had to pack on 20 pounds of pure muscle in order to become Tony Stark in a tin can.

4-Tom Hardy

For his role in Bronson he gained 48 lb of fat and muscle and for his iconic role in The Dark Knight Rises he gained 60 lb of total muscle.

5-Will Smith

To get ready for the part of Muhammad Ali, Will Smith bulked up from a string-bean-esque 185 pounds to a lean, mean, fighting machine-esque 220 pounds. He got there by training 6 hours a day.

6-Edward Norton

In addition to his amazing performance opposite Brad Pitt in Fight Club, he also played one of cinema’s most realistic Nazi skinhead scumbags in the movie American History X. To get ready for that role, Ed had to gain 30 pounds of muscle in just 3 months.

7-Hugh Jackman

Believe it or not, the two guys in the picture are both Hugh Jackman. For his role in the latest Wolverine movie, Hugh bulked up to 215 pounds…

8-Matt Damon

In Courage Under Fire Matt lost 50 lbs to look emaciated in just one scene, in which he had just a few minutes of screen time. And for The Informant he gained 30 lbs fat. And then lost 30 lbs of Informant fat and gained 15 lbs of muscle for the next movie Invictus.
